Adversity is something most kids go through during their lives but not all do. There were  times when people tell you to give up and focus on more important things, but this is what I dream of doing for my life. 3 years ago my dad was deported back to mexico, but I made him a promise to keep pushing to make something of myself. Through those 3 years i’ve built my character and found myself as a better player and person. I have too much hunger and passion for the game to not want to compete at the next level. I believe in my skill set and ability to adapt to anything thrown at me. My father says that if I am given one small chance to show myself to not hold back and play 110%. I also hope to make a better life for my whole family through this sport along with my education.
