My collegiate goal is to compete in soccer as well as working as hard as possible in college to earn my Bachelor’s Degree. Going to college has always been a dream of mine because it’s a huge step front to a successful future and also just making my parents proud telling them I did it for them. Currently, I am interested in the Medics field with a focus on being a Registered Nurse. Based on my academic from my last I ended the year with a 3.6 GPA taking all honors classes. Currently right now, I attend two school, Norcross HS and Maxwell HS Technology which focuses on mainly on Medical fields. I’ve also maintained a perfect attendance each school year and I’ve received many academic as well as Student-Athletics awards. As of soccer I’ve always had a passion for the sport since the age of 5. As of now I play both club with Alianza Soccer Club and Varsity High School Soccer at Norcross HS. In my club I am one of the two captains and our team is currently rated 3rd in State and we officially play national league premier one. Practicing on soccer and getting in shape has always been something I’ve been focused on heavily right now. Everyday I head to the gym in the morning before classes start and when school is over I head to soccer practice. Every time I play I am always committed to leaving the field knowing I did the best I can ever do. I’ve always been focusing on my defensive skills and spatial awareness of the field over the last several years, playing Center Back. But outside of academic and athletics, I’ve helped my community quite a bit recently because of this pandemic like we’ve been offering families lunches and clothing. I’ve also been giving money, clothing, and food to the homeless because as a little kid I knew how that felt so it’s always good to give back to your community and show God you’re appreciative of the opportunity we have now. I, Rodrigo Ramirez, am committed to working as hard as possible inside the field and out in school to make sure I earn a scholarship to make good use of it and earn my way up and graduate with a degree but not only that but to make the people that believed in me proud. Thank you for your time and I hope you enjoyed.
