R. Tristan DeLoach '21 Recruiting Profile

I have always been six years younger than my closest competitor, my big brother. Growing up he has always challenged me to run faster and try harder by never letting me beat him! He has taught me how to work harder everyday to compete, so now on the field and in the classroom, that's who I am. I have a natural athletic ability,  a level head and a humble maturity that combined with dedication and work ethic bring these qualities together allowing me to compete in any situation. A lot of student athletes don't fully appreciate their talent and potential, but I do. I recognize that my potential is my greatest opportunity.  My coaches and teachers will tell you about my hard work and stamina to reach that goal each day.

In competition I am a TEAM player above anything else. I want to win as a team more that anything I can achieve alone. I will take the shot if that will help my team and will willingly pass it on to my teammate if it will create the best outcome. I am a versatile player with good vision and my ability in the mid-field allows me to contribute to my team in any way necessary. 

I am currently on an academy contract with my club Tormenta FC’s USL1 team and train with them daily as I am a dual enrollment student at my high school. As an honor level student and a competitive player my collegiate goals are to attend a Division 1 competitive soccer program that will match my goals to attend an academic institution allowing me to explore a future in medicine and possibly professional soccer.
