Soccer is and always will be a substantially large factor in my life. Soccer's taught me qualities of hard work, dedication and leadership, allowing me to not only set an example on the field, but as well in the classroom and in my household. The possible opportunity of being able to play soccer at the next level and be exposed to a new level of competition and challenges has motivated me to pursue a possible scholarship. Ever since a young age my coaches, peers, and family have come to realize that I could possibly pursue a career at being in athlete in one of the 4 sports I was playing. When I first started high school at Woodville Tompkins, they didn’t have many boys sports so I strictly stuck to soccer. Eventually winning the starting job my freshman year over the sophomore keeper, made me realize that this is something I can really enjoy doing for the rest of my life and I may be successful in. I then transferred to Effingham County High School my sophomore year, where I sat behind Senior goalkeeper Josh Ricord, so I could learn some tips from him. I received my Letterman at Woodville and got the honor of being on the All-Academic team for both schools. I did not play school soccer Junior year and most likely will not play Senior year so I can focus on club soccer and getting better with my coaches there. I am an Advanced Placement, Honors, and GT student. I also am currently enrolled in full time dual enrollment at Georgia Southern University so I can receive college credits early. I would love the opportunity to explore my options in college in both Criminal Justice and Business. The opportunity to be able to get a scholarship has been a dream of mine for a while now. Not only to excel athletically but also academically.
