Kaimana Shinn '22 Recruiting Profile

Aloha!  My name is Kaimana  Shinn and I have been playing club and High School soccer for the last  8 years.  I  have played 2 years of  high school soccer and 8 years of club soccer.  I was pushed up to varsity midway thru my freshmen year.   I have also played multiple years of futsal.  I have always been defense oriented and love stopping shots!  I mainly played left back because of my ability to match up with the opposing teams fastest strikers.  I was clocked running  the 100 m  in 11 seconds  during tryouts.  Often times the coach would assign me to mark the opposing teams best striker.    I also played mid back as well.   I love to get in the box for corner kicks and often  get up field and  set up my offense with crosses.  I am looking forward to getting a quality college experience while also playing the sport I love!
