My goal with college is to push myself and play at the highest level I can and to be successful both on and off the pitch. I love this game because it has helped me be a good student but also how to be a leader and how to push myself to be the best that I can be. Living in Utah most of my life, I played at a very high level of competition and learned to fight for time and especially how to get along with people that I may not have seen eye to eye with. Most recently, since moving to the very small town of Declo ID, where soccer isn't as focused on, I've learned how to be a leader, teacher, and how to be patient with people whose skill level isn't at the level I've been used to.
Some additional fun facts about me are that I love to mountain bike, go backpacking, and I especially love to golf. Playing competitive high school golf, particularly when playing at state golf has taught me to control my emotions and keep my mental game in check. Learning this has only benefited me on the soccer field, learning how to pick myself up and bounce back when I may not be having my best game or pick my teammates up when the teams having a bad game.
I feel I've always been a player that prefers playing quick two-touch soccer, and I think this type of play is one that most coaches prefer. All of these skills that I've learned in my life playing soccer and through other activities are ones that I feel could be very useful on a college-level team, a team where I’ll give 100% every time I step on the pitch.
