Luis Araiza '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, thank you for taking the time to consider me! My name is Luis Araiza, I was born in Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico, however I was raised in Idaho with my parents, I do not like to brag about myself, however I would say one of my strengths on the field is my humility and teamwork, I don't consider myself the best (yet) but I am always willing to learn more, I have a big dream of making it to the MLS one day, so I am very dedicated to the sport and put a lot of heart into it. I am currently playing at college club team level. I have the privelage to have been named the leader of the club team in my university (Northwest Nazarene University). Some of my weaknesses may include my social anxiety, but I am currently working on bettering myself on that end, I still, however, try my hardest to get along with my teammates as much as possible because I believe behavior is just as important on the pitch as skill. Skill wise, I believe I am a play maker, I have noticed that I have a higher chance of scoring a goal after I gain full control of the ball, therefore I am not very good at scoring by only one touch. My passing skills are a great highlight of mine, and my abilities with dribbling are also what I would consider well developed. I graduated early from high school via GED, and now I am very grateful to say that I made it to college! But I'm always looking for more opportunites.
