When I was younger my dad tried to get me to play other sports, I could never bring myself to sit out even for one season to try anything different. This is because I know I excel and thrive in soccer. I was born in Las Vegas and club soccer was very expensive, having four kids in the family playing club soccer wasn't even really an option for me. This, however, never deterred me from playing the game I love. Going into high school I was told I wouldn't be able to compete with the kids who had been playing club soccer their entire life. I made the team my freshman year and was the top goal scorer on every team I ever played on. I have felt as if I wasn't challenged enough with competition in high school and would love to compete at the next level, even if my resume is not as loaded.
My coaches always seem to play me where our biggest weakness is because I can adapt quickly to new positions and fill roles other players cannot. This makes me versatile. Regardless of position, I try to be the best player on the field every game. I would love to have an opportunity to play collegiate soccer.
