Carlos Garcia '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches, 

My name is Carlos Garcia I am a senior in High School I will be graduating in 2022. I currently have a 2.7 GPA. I am 5'10, 170 lbs. My primary position is a Goalkeeper but also have played as a field player back in the years. I have been playing the sport for 13 years and I am hoping to play at the Collegiate Level. Some accolades and accomplishments are 2x All State Selection, All State Team, All Conference, All Area First Team. My senior year I had a 0.844 GAA with 7 shutouts and 76 Saves and was also Varsity Captain. I feel like what separates me from the rest of the players is that I love to work hard every day weather its practicing with my club or a goalkeeper session to even me going to the gym. I have a mentality like no other I take the game very seriously and I make sure I am 100% focused as soon as I am on the field.

 I also love competition, my goal is to go to a school where they have a major that I want to study and a good strong educational system and also a team that not only has a lot of good talent in the field players but also as Goalkeepers, I want to be able to compete and learn new stuff every day.  I want to play at school who competes in a really competitive conference. 

Some things that I am good at are my quickness to get down on low shots, my reactions are on point ,my foot work as a goalkeeper is very strong and also is my distribution and my vision of the game is good as well. I can't forget my vocal on and off the field. I am one of those very loud Goalkeepers that is always communicating with his back line. I am always encouraging my team to play with heart and passion. To always, give it your all on the field but most importantly in the classroom because the title speaks for itself. You are a STUDENT before and Athlete.
