Giuseppe Lazzara '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Giuseppe Lazzara. I am in the class of 22” and play Varsity Soccer for Taft High School in Chicago, IL. There have been a lot of ups and downs with our program; last year our season was cut short due to the Teachers Union having a 2 week strike. This year the Covid 19 pandemic shortened my season drastically, through quarantine I put in countless amounts of time on and off the field whether it  was doing cardio in the gym to getting some shots on goal and even to getting some touches on the ball. The way I see it every chance is an opportunity to get better. I play defensive and attacking midfield as well as winger. I’d like to think of myself as a leader and a diverse player. I can play lots of positions and understand my role within them. I hope to continue my soccer journey into college and cannot wait for the competition.
