Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Giovanni Carrera, and I am an athlete currently affiliated with NCSA. I am set to graduate high school in 2025. My primary ambition is to become a professional soccer player. However, if that path doesn't materialize, I plan to pursue a college education in engineering, while also continuing to play soccer and exploring opportunities within that realm. I began playing soccer at the age of five, joining a team with my friends. Since then, soccer has been a passion that I've dedicated my life to. I believe my strengths as a candidate for any team stem from my strong teamwork skills. I thrive in collaborative environments and prefer to support my teammates rather than playing as a solo star. While I focus on making assists, I am also capable of scoring goals when needed. What sets me apart from other recruits is my commitment to teamwork and my relentless work ethic. I am dedicated to helping my team succeed and always strive to improve on and off the field.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
