I started playing soccer at age 3. When I became eligible for junior high soccer team I tried out. At first I didn't start or even play much. Until, I started playing keeper during P.E. my soccer coach walked and saw me playing. She made play keeper soon I was playing keeper a lot as being a sub though. Eventually, I ended up playing keeper as a starter and replace the starting keeper. In my eighth grade year I was captain and played every game. I also had the top assist and scored three goals from keeper.
My freshman year I tried out for soccer I made the team. I was second string keeper and occasionally starting center attacking midfielder. My freshman year soccer team was a struggle and had very hard times. I pulled through and made through the first season of my high school year. After, that season I found out that the AYSO team had called me up for their elite U19 team. I was very proud and I also found out that I was the youngest player called up. My coach changed my position to left striker. The funny thing is I dislike playing left wing because the team at first never used the left side of the pitch, till one game I ended up confronting the older guys on the team. They were surprised at how angry I was about not letting me participate with them. Finally, when they started using me, I could receive balls and find the back of the net.
The summer of 2012 my team had travel to Knoxville, TN. During the tournament my team was in group D. I had played against teams from all across the United States. I realized that the level of soccer in a national tournament is very difficult a hard to succeed in. After that I started playing in a few more tournaments and started to relax more.
In my profile it, only has my freshmen year of high school shown, I was unable to try out for the high school team because of personal issues that came up during try outs. However, I manage to play on the high school summer league team. I manage to gain the heads coach respect during the summer season. Even though I do not play on the high school team, that hasn’t stop me from playing on club teams.
It is my senior year of high school and I have learn a lot about myself. I'm strong willed and determine. I push my academics far above anything I have. During rough times I'm constantly in the search to find a way to make people happy including myself. I'm always glad to work with new people and create new strategies. I believe with my qualities and background I can always come up with solutions.
My dream and goals, in life is to travel the world and teach kids how to play soccer. I would like to play at collage level, but I want to play at collage that is competitive and their soccer team is a very important to them. I also which study the marine life. I also wish to travel the world and study sports and cultures. I would like to discover my family history on my father side. I would love to play college soccer and meet Frank Lampard, Didier Drogba and Fernando Torres.
Thank you for taking you time to read my story.
