William Maurice '20 Recruiting Profile

Soccer is my passion, which I want to pursue through collegiate soccer. I have wanted to play collegiate soccer since I was very little, and I have worked towards this goal through Illinois ODP, my club team, and my high school team for many years. I will contribute to a college soccer program due to my determined personality and work ethic. My passion for soccer drives me to work extremely hard in both my athletics and academics in order to succeed. I also want to pursue my academic goals through a biology undergraduate degree in my first four years of college. My future ambition is to play professional soccer out of college, and to return to graduate school for zoology after my career. I will work extremely hard in both academics and athletics, to achieve both of these future goals. In terms of my personality, I feel that I have leadership qualities, I am extremely competitive, and I work hard to achieve my goals and ambitions.
