I am Aidan Hughes a 19 year old goalkeeper from Rochester, IL. I have played soccer since age 4. I played competitively for SLSG for 5 years and played my senior year for Lou Fusz Phillips. I played my freshman year at Loras College but have entered the transfer portal and have D3 self release forms on hand.
Unfortunately, Loras offers limited majors that do not align with my personal interests and goals and I have decided to transfer for next year. My passion and love for the game and my desire to excel and improve, push me to a want to play at the highest level at a school that will allow me more academic options.
I have a job as a goalkeeper to be the leader on the field and direct and control my team. I am highly vocal and have no problem coming into a new team, being the leader and telling my older teammates what to do. I have never been shy on or off the pitch. I work as hard as I do on the field as I do in school. My grades are very important to me. I spend my free time either at home studying or in the gym or on the pitch training. Some players dread having to go to practice or train, but I live for it.
