I have pretty good grades and i work very hard in practice everyday. When it comes to gametime i am very focused. I play well defensively and offensively
Note from my high school Coach:
Jon Ruiz plays soccer for me at Tippecanoe Valley High School. Although he just completed his freshman season, Jon displayed a work ethic and a skill level that is not seen in many first year soccer players at the high school level. Playing mainly in the midfield, Jon plays under control and and has an extremely high soccer IQ. He is highly technically skilled, is an excellent passer, communicates with his teammates on the pitch, and truly is a positive force both offensively and defensively.
Furthermore, his attitude and work ethic set an example in practice and games that his teammates follow and look up to. He is very mature, even though he still has three years left of high school soccer. He is that rare player that makes his teammates better both on and off the field.
Finally and most importantly, Jon is an all-star in the classroom. He is a straight A student that will complete homework on the trip to play a game. Jon is a true student- athlete that any coach would love to have on their roster.
