My aspiration for college is to become a better student, athlete, and leader by managing my academics and athletics wisely. It will be no easy obstacle to overcome. However, managing friendships and relationships outside of these academics and athletics is also a checkpoint I want to achieve. One aspect of myself that is important is my ability to be coachable. I have been selected as Captain on my high school soccer team as a Junior, but I still learn new ways to teach and listen every day at practice. Another trait of mine that makes me stand out from other recruits is my positive attitude while also competing to the highest level possible every day. Every rep in practice is a chance to get better and I won’t miss that opportunity. Finally, I stress academics to the highest importance in my life. While going professional in soccer is my dream, attaining that milestone is very difficult to achieve. Consequently, I prioritize having good grades and a good reputation in the classroom to pave myself a solid pathway for my future life.
