 Coaches have always admired me for the way that I am able to motivate and hold the team together. I work hard on the pitch and I believe it’s important to build a relationship with my team. It’s not unusual for athletes to play a crucial leadership role on their team, however I have gone beyond that by developing the trait of being the team backbone. I am the player that motivates everyone else, pushes them through tough situations, makes sure we all keep our heads high even after a loss. I bring the best out of everyone on the team. Through my leadership role in soccer I was able to gain experience to become a leader at my school. My exceptional grades allowed me to meet the criteria needed to run for school president. My tough character and determination helped me work hard and win that position as well.
