Ivan Turcios '23 Recruiting Profile

All my life, I've aspired to be the best at what I do whether that be on the field or in the classroom.  Ever since I started playing soccer, I've made it a personal mission of mine to play at the collegiate level.  I've been on varsity all four years of high school and even named captain my junior and senior season. After winning sectionals and the NLC my sophomore year, I was named all-conference.  I finished my junior year with 10 goals and 10 assists.  In July, my club team (Elkhart County United) and I traveled to Greensboro, North Carolina and won nationals. I finished with 3 goals and 1 assist in 4 games earning the golden boot for the tournament. 

In the classroom, I have a 4.06/4.0 GPA and scored a 1250 on the SAT. I was elected class president my freshman and sophomore year, vice-president my junior year, and once again elected senior class president. I have been Spanish Club President since my sophomore year and served as BPA vice president my junior year. I've been selected as a representative of my class several times to attend leadership conferences such as NLC Summit, HOBY Indiana, Lugar's Symposium for Tomorrows Leaders, and more.
