Personal Statement

I am a 5’9” Shooting Guard from Plymouth, IN. I have been a starter since I have been playing basketball. My freshman year, I was on our Freshman Team. We went 16-0 that season, and I was also a starter. During freshman year, I had a game that I scored 22 points. For my sophomore year, I was starting Junior Varsity. My junior year, I was on Junior Varsity and also playing Varsity. I had a 22 point game that season, including two game winning shots. For my senior year, I am on Varsity assisting my team with assists, rebounds, and defense. I have not scored as much this year, but I have been extremely important to the team on the defensive end, and in other aspects on and off of the court.

I am looking for a college or university where I am able to keep up with my academics and basketball. I would like to go to a university that has a considerable reputation for their academics in Pre-Med or Nursing. I am also hoping for a team that I can make an immediate impact on with my abilities. I believe I would fit best at the NAIA, DIII, or DII level, but any level with great academic opportunities would be given consideration. My realistic athletic goals are to play as a freshman, and make an impact on the team.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
