My name is Joseph downey but I go by Joey and I love with the game of soccer. every moment possible I am doing something related to soccer. whether its lifting or speed and agility or soccer drills. I Make sure I practice a lot outside of team practices. Its been my dream since I was a little kid around four to be a collegiate soccer player so I don't let any time go to waste I skipped eighth grade and so I play people up to four years older than me for my school‘s varsity team, but I still dominate all levels I play at. Im not afraid of pressure or tough situations because I heavily prepare myself. I am a natural leader and playmaker. I have great vision and cause problems for the other team with the ball at my foot. I also understand the importance of study and take my academics very seriously I have around a 3.7 GPA despite no honors classes being offered at my school. All my classes are very challenging and requires hours of work but I balance it with soccer. Soccer is also a good place to get away from school and not think about the stress of it, but despite all of this everything I do is for the glory of God because if it weren't for him I wouldn’t be here.
