My name is William Galley and I currently attend Wabash High School in Wabash, IN. Since my first experience on a travel soccer team at the age of 12, I have made it my goal to play soccer in college. Whereas many collegiate athletes were gifted early on, I have worked tirelessly to develop my skills and talents. My work ethic and determination are traits I have embraced and integrated into all that I do, both athletics and academics. I take pride in knowing that no matter where I might play at the next level, or what my occupation may end up being, I will succeed because of my work ethic, determination, perseverance, and acceptance of my responsibilities as a student-athlete.
As I currently travel over an hour one way to train and be part of my travel team, I understand the importance of time management, organization, and communication. I constantly work through and balance the pressure to uphold high academics standards and be a good teammate and player on the field. It is these traits, my mindset, and my passion for being a well rounded individual that makes me stand out from the crowd. These are not just aspirations, as I work daily to make them reality. On your team, I will be a leader, a teammate, and someone who will do the work for a successful outcome, no matter what odds we face.
