Hi My name is Faiq and the following few sentences are about my college goals, my soccer goals and what makes me the perfect player for your team.
I am a very hard working student athlete, I put in everything I have in whatever I do. My goals for college are to maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle. I want to study business or Sports Management. This way I can stay in touch with that I love, sports. I will work very hard to fulfil my goals in both my sport and my studies.
My ultimate goal is to become pro, however I do understand that there steps that I have to take in order to get there and I am willing to put everything on the line to make it pro. In my years of playing club and high school soccer I have played many different positions and have been a starter for all of them. I played from goalie all the way up to striker. My best performances have come when I played striker and center back, I excelled at those positions by scoring goals and keeping clean sheets. I am also a proven center defensive mid. These positions are usually played by leaders and I am no different. I bring that leadership and that winning mentality needed in a team. Whenever I step on the pitch, I am always looking to make an impact, whether that is from scoring a goal, saving one, defending or even pressuring the opposition into a mistake. My mentality going into a match is to not come out of it thinking that I could have put in more effort in something. I will always play like its my last time playing the game.
