I was about six years old when I started playing soccer. I fell in love with the game from day one, and have played ever since. The position I play is primarily Defensive Midfielder (and sometimes Center Midfielder). When I was younger, I had a much harder time not winning, but as I’ve continued to play over the years, I’ve learned that sometimes you can grow from those experiences (even though I still prefer winning!). I am good at reading the game, and anticipating what other players are going to do. I am methodical and physical on the pitch. I spend a lot of time analyzing professional soccer games and watching how the players play. My academic goals include keeping a 3.5 GPA (or higher) and I want to pursue a degree in Exercise Science. My parents have played a huge role in my development by supporting me in both my athletic and academic goals. Also my coaches have pushed me to become not only a better player, but also a better person.
