My goal has always been to continue my playing career at the collegiate level. In order to accomplish that goal, I know I must work hard and that is what I do on a daily basis. For me, there is no off-season. I use the summer months to train individually or with other like-minded soccer players that are willing to put in the work when no one is watching. I am not afraid to request feedback, especially from my coaches. Being told that I need to improve in a certain area of a game helps me focus my efforts in order to reach my maximum potential. I pride myself on working hard and improving every single season and off-season. I will always continue to work hard on improving my game. During my sophomore club season, I was named team captain. I have also been named team captain for my club team for my junior season. I lead through my actions and by communicating with my teammates.
Academics are very important to me as I plan to major in Business and minor in economics. My goal is to finish college in three years and get my MBA during my fourth year. I should complete all my high school graduation requirements by the end of my first semester, senior year. I plan to use my second semester to start taking some freshman college courses. I am very driven academically and have been taking advanced courses since my freshman year in high school.
In my free time, I like to spend time with my family, play other sports, and read books. I have one younger brother and one younger sister who also play soccer. I am a volunteer basketball coach for elementary-aged children through our church program and I am active within the youth group at my church. I am also a US Soccer licensed referee.
