Tristan Tepen '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Tristan Tepen, I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old with the hope of playing Collegiate Soccer.  I work to improve myself almost every day so I can one day reach that goal. I play for Southampton Pro Academy which is one of the best teams in Kansas.  We travel throughout the Midwest to play the best competition.  We won the State Cup in a thrilling come from behind victory and went on to play in Regionals.    I have been playing on Varsity at Shawnee Mission Northwest for 3 of my 4 years of high school.

I like challenging myself.  This last high school season (2018), I'm proud to say when we played against 5 of the top 6 conference scorers,  I was matched up and kept them from scoring while also getting forward to be involved in the offense.

Continuing my education while playing soccer has always been a dream of mine.  While I have not decided on a major, I have recently taken some classes that have sparked an interest in business, marketing and the stock market.  The past few years I've volunteered to help ref at the Kansas Special Olympics annual soccer tournament and help manage the girls soccer team in my free time.

I plan to consider colleges that are a good match for me academically.   I am very passionate about soccer and if that works out also, that would be great!
