Where I come from soccer is a fairly new sport. People from Hazard are more worried about the next basketball or football game. My generation of players are the people introducing the sport to most people. Since I was young I was taught to play my hardest and give it my all 100% of the time, and that it what I do. I am a very coachable athlete and I work well in tense situations. I am also a team oriented player that will do anything to help us win. I took the ACT this fall and i got a 22. I have not yet taken it again but I intend to take both the ACT and SAT in the years to come. I was selected for the Duke TIP program which I attended in the summer of 2019. Also I was selected for the Rogers Scholar program last year that I was going to attend but was sadly cancelled by COVID-19. I maintained a 4.0 GPA all through grade school, and I currently have a 3.8. I aspire to go to college and major in medicine. I've always wanted to work in the medical field since I was a small child. What makes me different is that I am a very determined person. If I set my mind to one thing I will make it happen no matter how hard it is or how long it takes. I also started for Hazard High School soccer as a freshman this year. I have been training with them since my 7th grade year but this year I could play without losing eligibility. I have yet to join a club because there are none close enough for me to get to training every week without it getting in the way of school. I joined Commonwealth Soccer Club in November, 2021. I now play for Lexington Sporting Club.
