I like soccer now as much as I ever have, and would love for nothing more than to continue my career. I play because its fun, but most of all I'm very competitive. I've had a desire to win since the day I was born, no matter what I am doing, and soccer is no different. I'm a good sized midfielder at 6'2" and 175 pounds. I like to use my size to my advantage in terms of winning the ball in the air and on ball tackles. My athleticism despite my height, allows me to be as fast as most players. As a captain my junior year in high school (2014 season) I was named the conference player of the year, as well as to the Western Maine Class C all star team, on the way to winning the regional and state championships. This was back to back as we won in 2013 as well. As a sophomore I was named first team all conference as well. The thing I bring to the team is the drive to win. Winning is what drives me at all levels and I hate nothing more than losing. In the past three years of high school I have lost three games, all of which still bug me. I show up and do my best so that my team has best chance of winning, stepping my play up when it matters most. I also bring someone who can do many different things, and play different roles. I can defend, score, pass, and carry the ball. I would like to attend a college in the Northeast. I'm not exclusively decided on this region but it's an area that I like, that isn't a million miles away from home. I am open to almost all schools. The specifics of what I really want haven't been decided and I'm open to different ideas. In terms of what I want to study in school, I haven't decided yet. Engineering and Environmental Sciences are two of the majors that I am most interested in at the moment. I would like to further my career in soccer at a higher level, what level that is I'm still unsure. I would like to be a player who can be am impact player within a year or two. I want to play at a level at which I can compete, play, and enjoy the game.
