In college I aspire to get a degree in engineering and/or computer science, as well as play college soccer in either Division I, Division II, or Division III. After college, I want to work in the computer engineering field or computer science field. However, I want soccer to continue to be apart of my life after college as well. This summer I also plan to get a reffing license, so I can ref games as a part-time job. My father has played varsity soccer in high school and college in Division I, as well as professional soccer. I have played soccer since the second grade, if not before that. I have always worked hard on and off the field to make sure that I am physically and mentally prepared for anything that may occur in a game. I always put in 110% in games and in practice, and I have the same determination in the classroom. At the moment I am in all AP and GT classes at my high school and I also participate in the school orchestra. I play the violin. My time management/prioritization abilities have contributed to the balance of athletics, academics, and extracurriculars in my life. I consider myself a scholar athlete, which places importance on both academics and athletics. My unweighted GPA is 3.63 and my weighted GPA is 4.88. The position I am most accustomed to on the field is as a midfielder, specifically a defensive mid. However, I will play any position that the coach needs me to play. I am also a very consistent player who is able to read the game in order to create plays and opportunities for the team to score. In my opinion, teamwork and chemistry is a very important aspect to winning, so I like to play for the team as a whole rather than solely for myself.
