Niklas Avillo '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Nik Avillo, class of 2023 at Walter Johnson HS in Bethesda, Maryland. I play CDM for WJ varsity and Potomac Blue 04, and am looking for an academically competitive college with a strong soccer program. I stand out in a number of ways. I have a 4.71 weighted GPA with multiple AP classes, and am a member of the Spanish, Math, and National Honor Societies at Walter Johnson. I have also completed 260+ volunteer hours over the past five years. On the field, I am an aggressive CDM, shutting down opposing attacks and moving the ball quickly and with purpose. I take pride in my work rate, intensity, and my ability to absorb what my coaches teach me. I value the bonds I have with my teammates, and I’m looking forward to building similar ones in college.
