My name is Sahil Raina and I am currently a junior at Marriotts Ridge High School in Maryland. I started playing soccer at a relatively young age when my coaches noticed I had potential and a strong passion for the game. Throughout the years I was able to develope my skills and now perform best at striker or outside midfielder positions. My biggest strengths as a player are my shots and finishing capabilities. On most of the teams I have played on I have been the top goal scorer or close runner-up. I am also very academically inclined and have taken many AP and honors courses throughout high school. In my freshman year of high school I played Baltimore Armour Academy (U.S. Developmental Academy Team), but after playing with the team for a year I decided I also wanted the high school experience. I was a starter on varsity as a sophomore playing a right mid position while also playing an age group above me with SAC 00' Premiere. This year I decided to play high school again as a starting striker on varsity and am currently playing on the same club team as last year. I am looking for a college that values academics highly, but is also very competitive in soccer. I look forward to an opportunity of playing for a D1, D2, or D3 school assisted by a financial scholarship.
