Eric Jimenez '13 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer for 13 years. Coaches have told me that I am fast for my height and that I am one of the fastest people on the field. They have also said that I am an explosive player. In the spring of 2010, I played for SMU Vipers. That season, the team selected me as Team Captain and I was awarded MVP. The following summer, I went to Austria and Germany for a soccer tournament, sponsored by People to People. Our team ended in second place in the Men's U-15 age division. The team I was on selected me as Team Captain and adwarded me MVP. In the summer of 2010, I traveled to North Carolina for a week for personal 1-on-1 with one of the soccer coaches there. My family and I are looking for a college that has a NCAA Men's Soccer program. I would prefer to go to a big, public school, and I am interested in getting a major in the field of Computer Science. My dream has been to play college soccer and serve a role that helps build my team and improve the overall quality of the team I play for. As a senior, I am the Team Captain for my high school. As a starter, I am a center midfielder, and a right midfielder.
