Ashton Stewart '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ashton Stewart and I am graduating from Westminster High School in 2023.  I pride myself on both my athletic performance on the pitch and my academic performance in school. I have played soccer since the age of 5 and started my club career in 2nd grade.  I started playing soccer for my local club, Central Carroll Soccer Club where I learned my fundamental skills and knowledge of the game.  I have moved up my level of play throughout the years and have been rostered on the Coppermine SC Boys 2004 Premier team since 2018, where I was vital in getting my team to the quarterfinals in The Maryland State Cup in 2021.  I am a starting forward, can also play left wing and have been moved to attacking center midfielder as needed.  I feel comfortable in all these roles.  I am a VARSITY starter playing for my High School team since 2021.  Last year, I was the only Junior Forward to make 1st Team All-County and All-State Honorable Mention.
