Hello my name is Lucas Morales-Fernandez, I live in Amherst, Massachusetts. I am a junior at Amherst Regional High School and will graduate in 2020. I have been playing soccer since I was in kindergarten at many different levels. In addition to playing soccer, I enjoy playing basketball.
I am the middle of three children and going to college is very important to me and my family. My goal is to pursue a career in athletic training. I am a dedicated, hardworking, and respectful person who enjoys spending time with family and friends. During the summer of 2015, I traveled to Germany to play soccer with clubs around the Berlin area. In addition, I have volunteered to coach for a recreational kindergarten soccer teams and club teams as well as assist my local youth basketball leagues.
My persistent effort, physical and mental capability, my willingness to listen and learn from criticism and feedback make me a prospective player that your college will benefit from-both academically and athletically. I have played many positions throughout my soccer career, however my strongest position is goalkeeper. I have enjoyed playing this position as early as kindergarten, however, and have played this position at the Varsity level since sophomore year. I am the starting goalie for my Varsity team as well as my club team.
