Connor Poliquin '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Connor Poliquin and I currently a First-Year College Student playing at Jackson College in Jackson, MI.

I am looking to continue my athletic and academic career after my two years are up at Jackson College in the spring of 2023.  Jackson College is at the JUCO level, I chose to attend Jackson College because I believed that it would be best for me, and would help me improve and progress on my development as an athlete.  I also believed it would open up many more doors for the future.

Personally, I believe that you have to work for what you want and that nothing is guaranteed.  I believe that nothing is handed to you in life and you shouldn't expect to receive anything.  I believe you have to work hard and do your best to obtain what you want.  You can't just go through the motions and expect results.  That goes for all aspects of life, whether it's athletics, academics, or wanting to better yourself as a person, absolutely anything.

Going through the scouting program, "Do your best" has really become my motto of life.  At the end of the day, if you know you did your absolute best and pushed your limits, I think that's what matters, and that will create growth alone.
