Ethan Rabel '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ethan J Rabel and I am a footballer who is available as of June 15, 2024 as I will be officially a High School Junior. In being transparent, I would love to make as early a commitment as possible as I want to be in a situation where I can start working on a plan with that coach as I inspire to be impactful the moment I land. I believe in ball movement, this means that the ball does all the hard work as our opponents chases it all over the field. Those who know the game understand what I am saying. The name of the game is possession which in turn means control and creating more chances for my team to score goals than our opponents. I get as much thrill in assisting as I do scoring goals. I am currently playing midfield on my team; however, I started as a defender. I firmly believe on playing both sides of the ball the entire game. I believe in team play. I work hard to understand my role on any team. I have been told that I am technically sound and very good on the ball and that I am a quality player. I remain humble because that is who I am in my core. Please don't take my word for it, come find out for yourself. I want to play at the next level now, I don't want to wait, because I know that is where I would be challenged and pushed the most in order to thrive. I aim to be an over achiever. When I first started playing futbol, I was the last person off the bench. I fell in love with the game and my coaches, parents didn't have to ask me to work hard, I chose to do that. These days, when I watch professional futbol with my friends, they are amazed at the skills, their work rate, their touch. I in turn ask myself, what do I need to do, where do I go to get training and be challenged similarly to be able to do what they do? I believe that through hard work, anything is possible. I have turned myself into a very good player, earn my coaches and teammates respect by developing my skills, use my mind to gain an edge in my understanding of the game and I found myself being told that I have a long runway as a player.
