Alvaro Castillo-Clotter '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, My name is AJ Castillo, and I wish (and currently on the journey) to achieve top fitness as an athlete and develop more character, both as a player and a human being. My recent position change from forward to outside back fulltime has provided me with that character. I can also play as a center-back and playing these defensive positions allows me to communicate with my teammates a lot more. It taught me leadership and how to guide a team. As a player, my aggressive playstyle, stamina, coachability, and speed allows for my team to have that extra option when going forward when needed. However, I am very defensive minded and tend to sit back, just a bit ahead of the 2 center backs. (When playing 4 at the back). I'm willing to play as an outside midfielder as well.
