Wilber Garcia '22 Recruiting Profile

Coming from Spain, the summer of 2021 has opened the doors to a new stage in my life as a student-athlete. My soccer career began when I was 5 years old playing futsal while also playing soccer. I spent 12 years in a futsal team playing from Benjamins to Juniors and playing with the Senior team for the last 2 years while playing in the youth team.

All these years have given me growth, maturity and different perspectives on futsal and soccer as I have been playing in different categories. Now I am looking for new challenges and experiences as a student-athlete in a university that fits my needs and that can provide me with a good academic and athletic competitive level. Considering all my experience in Spain, I believe that apart from having the skills to play in college, I consider myself a player with character on the field, always willing to give the maximum and passionate about the sport I love to play.
