Zac Swango '27 Recruiting Profile

At 6’5”, everybody expects me to be a basketball player.  But my true passion lies in playing soccer.  I play center back with the ability to play defensive midfield and have been kicking a ball around the soccer field since I was 4.  As a freshman in high school, I was a starter for both the JV and freshman teams and I played all but 30 minutes through the course of the season with both teams.  I was awarded freshman MVP and JV defender of the year and joined the varsity team at the end of the season for playoffs.   I look to continue my success as a player and push myself to be the best I can be.  As a student, I’ve been earning all A+ in honors classes and have been more than able to keep a good balance between school and soccer.  Even through injuries like a broken knee, my love for the game stays strong and I want to continue playing for as long as I can.
