2022 Highlights Personal Statement
My name is Tyler Stevens and I am a class of 2024 center back and holding midfielder and captian of the 2023 team. I have started every game since my sophomore year at Blackstone Valley Technical Regional High School (1230-students).
In 2022, I was the only starting Junior on varsity team to started every varsity game and led the team in minuted played for 2nd year in a row. Led my team to 2x Conference Champion, 2x Central Mass Finalist (lost in PK), 1x State Regional Champion, 1x State Finalist (first ever for a Vocational School). Led my Summar District Select /ODP team to 3x State Titiles and 2x State Finalist Runner-ups.
In 2021, I was the only sophomore to make the varsity team beating out over 90 players, started every varsity game my sophomore season and led my team in the most minutes played. Also I helped led my team to Conference Champion, State Vocational Finalist, Central Mass Finalist, and Regional State Finalist.
Looking back, I have been playing competitive soccer since I was nine years old starting at Liverpool Elite before moving to GPS Elite Boys and BestFC Elite 2006 Boy(as starting center back) for the past 4-years gradually improving my game along this journey. My BestFC Elite 2006 finished in Spring 2021 as State Cup finalist.
I have played at elite level for Club, regional and state travel teams and I WILL play in college as yet another step in my soccer journey.
