Hello, my name is Nils Tellander. I play for the Boston Bolts U20 USL Academy team 19, and I play defense. My primary positions are center back and central defensive midfield. I go to Wellesley High School in Wellesley, MA, which is a college town about 13 miles west of Boston. I captained the Wellesley Varsity Boys Soccer team, and I have been honored as a Massachusetts Bay State Conference All-Star Finalist (2022, 2023) and voted MVP by my teammates. I also play ice hockey (forward) and have played on the Wellesley Varsity Ice Hockey team since my freshman year. I captained the ice hockey team my senior year which ended in the playoffs. I am also a competitive runner (800m/middle distance), a member of my high school’s Varsity Boys Spring Track team, and a member of the 4X800m relay team that placed 7th at the Massachusetts State meet (Meet of Champions). In addition to sports, I love to spend time outdoors – hiking, biking, and surfing during my free time. Academically, I have a 3.7 GPA with a full load of honors courses. I have a passion for art and am part of a selective, intensive Drawing and Painting program at school. I hope to major in Biology and after college I’m interested in going to medical school to become a doctor.
