Hi, I’m Ian Brown, and playing soccer at the collegiate level has been a dream of mine for a long time. My goal is to get to a great program and make an impact and be an influential player on the field and off of it. Most importantly, I want to get to a great program at a school that is very academically strong and meets my needs in that area. I have been playing soccer since the age of three and at the club level since the age of eight. For as long as I can remember to my younger years, I have dedicated my life outside of the classroom to the game of soccer and I’m looking to continue that through college and beyond. I'm a big, strong, physical defender that can win a ball back for my team and always make the right play from the back. I also am a very strong leader and can lead my teammates through my communication and calm presence. I strive to be the best player and teammate out there on the pitch every time I step out onto it and I believe that my leadership and my drive to be the best will translate and get me to the next level. Through playing soccer for the majority of my life, I have learned what it takes to strive for greatness on and off the field which I believe puts me above others. Off the field, I am a very hardworking student which translates to my great academic achievements so far throughout middle and high school. I hold the same standards of hard work, dedication, and the strive for greatness in the classroom just as I do on the field. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
