Eliot Boik '21 Recruiting Profile

Academics always comes first, but I've always been passionate about playing soccer for as long as I can remember. I would love to play professionally someday, but a degree in a job that involves working with nature and the outdoors would suit me well. Although I'm from a small town in Northern Michigan, our soccer program is highly competitive with larger and more established Northern Michigan/Canadian cities. In club play, I've always played at a higher age level and averaged around 20 goals per season.  As a Freshman for my high school team, I was a starter on Varsity, scored 8 goals as an outside midfielder, and was awarded to the All District Team and All Conference Honorable Mention. This trend continued throughout my Sophomore and my Junior year (as Captain), where I netted over 30 goals and over 20 assists earning All District, All Conference, and All Region dream team (Traverse City Record Eagle).
