My parents have been a big influence on who I am now along with my high school and club coach. If I need someone or something that I cannot get myself I turn to one of them for help, they always are in full support of me.
I’ve played soccer from a young age, like 4 or 5 years. I don’t know how I really got into it though. Nobody in my family played it. I do remember watching YouTube videos of professionals such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar Jr, Lionel Messi, and many more and thinking “I want to be like them”. Then over time it changed to “I will be like them”. My determination grew and I started training very hard. Soccer went from a hobby to a lifestyle.
Through my journey I’ve overcame some challenging obstacles, the biggest one being bullying. I was bullied because I was better than average. I was told I “work too hard and make everyone else look bad”. That was not my intention of course and I learned to just shut out their comments after trying to explain to them that I want more than soccer to just be a hobby. Of course I did go to people for help when things got real bad.
In highschool I plan to graduate with a 3.5 gpa or above and I plan to get higher-end scores on the SAT and other big tests. I plan to take a few AP classes before I graduate too.
