Ethan Johnson '19 Recruiting Profile

I would really like to join a college soccer team, I have been working really hard for as long as I could remember and want to pursue my passion beyond highschool.

I started playing soccer when I was three, and at a very young age was in love with the sport. Throughout my childhood I played on many teams but joined my first traveling club team when I was 7 for a mostly Hispanic team called the Jaguars in Illinois that didn’t speak very much English. It was a great experience and that’s when I knew I wanted to play soccer in highschool and college. I was known for my creativity and my unexpecting passing plays that the other team didn’t see coming. I have non stopped played soccer indoors and outdoors for a long time and it never gets old. My current juggling score is in the 300s and I would say I have great ball handling skills. My character on the field involves me being encouraging and helping my teammates as much as I can. I wouldn’t say I’m a leader but I most definitely do what I can to help the people around me.
