I grew up in San Rafael, Veracruz with my grandparents and mom, we were a family that didn’t have a lot, but love towards each other. in 2015 I immigrated from Mexico to Minnesota. At that point we had to stay with my grandmother for about two and a half years while my mom was still getting used to her job as a scientist that works with immunology and my dad was looking for jobs. My parents signed me up to a small school in Forest Lake Minnesota. For me it was difficult to communicate with my teachers at school because my english wasn’t that good. Now my English is way better than the first year that I was here and every day I’m improving my soccer skills along with my English.
I was 3 years old when I started playing soccer, all my teammates were older than me, I was scared of getting injured but my coach and family talked to me about not being afraid of things that are stopping me to do the things that I love. I learned how to push myself until I can't walk, I learned how to listen to my coach and teammates.
I would like to go into a scientific field. I have been looking forward to learning about chemistry, biology and physics. Another subject that I like is math, I have always liked math for the fact that I am interested in how the numbers are used in real life.
