Who I am as a player as been shaped by the many international experiences I've had, including a year abroad with my family in Colombia in 8th grade, where I played year-round for my school, and participating in an indoor soccer tournament in Barcelona, Spain with my club team. I became fluent in Spanish in Colombia, and I gained experience in high-level international play during my time in Spain. Both experiences were extremely influential towards who I am as a player today.
I've been in love with soccer my entire life, and never want to stop thinking about it or playing it. However, another big part of who I am as a person is my academics. I understand the importance of high education, and always put my all into both school and soccer. My goal for myself as I move into college is to be challenged academically as well as having an opportunity to play high-level soccer.
My best attribute as an athlete is most definitely my worth ethic. I train every day. If I notice a skill of mine is in need of improvement, I will practice it over and over until it's mastered.
