Tyler Volkart '21 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since kindergarten and it has always been something special to me. I love the team atmosphere and the unique bond you form with the team. I have been playing on Mayer Lutheran's Varsity team since freshman year, and I received an all-conference honorable mention my sophomore year. This past year (my junior year) we had the best season in program history with a 14-2 record and I was named as one of the captains for the team. When in college, I would like to study Business and Biology. Growing up in Minnesota, I have a passion for the outdoors and all the sciences that are involved with it. Business also intrigues me because I am a fairly social person and the idea of interacting and doing business with others sounds appealing to me. I am a hard worker that puts time in during the off season and will not give up easily. This goes for school and sports. If I do not get something I will keep working at it until I succeed. I believe that this is a great idea to base life off of.
