My name is Austin Reza, thank you for taking time out of your busy day to review my profile. I am a Senior at Blue Springs High School in Blue Springs Missouri. I’m a 2024 graduate, stand 6’2,165 lbs, and run a 6 minute mile and my current position on the field is Center-back, my coach has also played left-back as needed. I’m looking to attend a school preferably local to the Kansas City that can accommodate my academic and athletic needs. As a military child and son of a 24 year active-duty Marine, people assume you can cope with environments quickly which isn't the case for me. Every 3 years my father would receive permanent change of duty station orders. Which meant my family and I would have to move to a new location or state, and because of this, I've never had a consistent team or coach to work with, and even sometimes I wasn't able to play for one. When you have this inconsistency, you can become demotivated or tired of having to restart. Still, with perseverance and a healthy and positive mindset, I kept improving myself on and off the field. Soccer has helped me realize I'm a very competitive person and always want the best for my teams coaching staff, fellow teammates whether it's for a high school game, a club game, or just a group project in school. I’m want to be a team player.
Everyone has their characteristics that set them apart from others. I'm a laid-back, chill, and creative-minded individual who focuses on himself and is interested in fashion. I want to one day travel the world and experience life to the fullest. Having these characteristics and wants will help me with my goals for the rest of high school and upcoming college experience. I'll focus on myself and my work, blocking out distractions from others who don't want to work as hard as me or are not as driven. My creative and problem-solving skills will put me in a whole other group. Going into my last year of high school, I aim to graduate with mostly straight A's and meet people who will motivate, challenge me to be better and support me. In college, I want to grow academically, become a better athlete and learn on my own as a young adult lastly develop into a better person. I want find what my actual wants and needs for my future are and just be a good person, roll model, and positive member of society.
