  • Evaluated at Showcase Camp - St. Louis Boys on 11/28/2020 by Coach Daum of Southwest Baptist University Skillset Overview Technical Abilities - 87 / 100 Dribbling - Quality with ball at both feet. Good in tight spaces, and makes good use of moves to beat defenders. Ball Control - Quality first touch in space, and controls the ball under pressure. Tactical Abilities - 84 / 100 Field Spacing - Highly active and involved in the attack. Gives good distance of support and passing angles for teammates. Speed Of Thought - Has good ideas and tries to play fast. This will only help future growth. Physical Abilities - 87 / 100 Strength - Did a good job handling challenges and played well shoulder-to-shoulder. Balance - Seemed to handle the challenges you faced well. Good job staying on your feet and not getting knocked off the ball. Mental Abilities - 89 / 100 Resistance To Stress - Maintains composure in pressure situations. Great job staying focused on the task at hand. Competitiveness - Showed a strong desire to win and seems to enjoy the competition. Keep working hard! Coach's Comments Chris is a player who is polished technically in small sided games and has a better touch than the vast majority of defenders his age. Chris could be a college prospect if he continues to evolve the decisions he makes in the attack as an outside back and works hard physically to improve athleticism. He isn't far away and I am excited to see his growth over the next year. Good going forward and back, but work on beating players inside and having confidence to move in 360 degrees when playing on the ball. Playing CB will help this as you are expected to lead the defense, however there is an important role to communicate as an outside back as well. Practice dribbling, ball control, and foot skills constantly. Will give you more confidence to help team in attack.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
