My name is Peyton Parn. I have wrestled since I was 4 years old and it is my favorite sport. I suffered an injury this Summer while playing baseball. I had a double tibia fibula fracture. Now that I have recovered I am very exited to start my freshman year. I had to sit out all of football to fully recover. I have qualified for state all 7 years I could. I placed 5 times and been In the finals 4. I have got 1st, 4th, 2nd, 2nd, and 1st. Through out my years wrestling has taught me many things. This year I wrestled for Team Missouri in the middle school national duals going 6-2 losing 3-2 and 6-4. I have placed at many national tournaments. Some if the past few years have been getting 1st at Liberty Nationals, 4th, 6th and 6th at Who's Bad Nationals. 2 years ago at state I was going on an Undefeated season going into state. 4 days after I won Regionals I found out state had been canceled do to Covid-19 exposier. This drove me to be better this year. I worked out every day before wrestling practice and then had a 2 hour practice. I went 33-1 losing one match 3-2 in Iowa. At state this year I pinned my way to the finals match. I wrestled a kid I had never wrestled before. I won 9-1. Now I continue my hard work waking up every morning at 5 A.M to work out or run before school. I am a hardworking kid not only for sports but also at school averaging a 3.81 GPA.
